Higher Dimensional Spaces, by James Zongker.
Posted September 10, 2018.
Posted here are the slides of James' Mensa Program presentation that he gave
on September 8, 2018. Note that the file is in pdf format.
James spoke about higher dimensional spaces: their fundamental properties,
how to model or visualize them, the geometry of regular shapes,
and how this can be used to understand math and physics in a new way.
James is not content with three-dimensional space, or even four-dimensional,
he goes for n-dimensional. He dropped in from some n-dimensional space, gave
his talk to those of us who inhabit three dimensions, and then disappeared
back into who-knows-where.

Review and Analysis of Dan Brown's Origin, by Larry D. Paarmann.
Posted November 10, 2018.
Posted here are the slides of Larry D. Paarmann's Mensa Program presentation that he gave
on November 10, 2018. Note that the file is in pdf format.
Brown is one of the most successful authors alive today, having written a number
of very popular novels, including The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons,
and Inferno, all three of which have been made into popular movies.
In Origin, Edmond Kirsch, the world's greatest authority on Artificial
Intelligence, is assassinated while in the middle of revealing to a world-wide
audience his recent findings about the future of mankind. In the aftermath,
Robert Langdon, friend of Kirsch and present at the announcement, goes through
a frantic pursuit via a Gulfstream jet and Tesla sports car, from exotic location
to exotic location throughout Spain, and only a few steps ahead of the police
and would-be assassins of the Palmarian sect church, attempting to find the
supercomputer, and the password, to discover and release Kirsch's message to the
world. To view these slides,
